A Horrible Tragedy

WOMAN AND FIVE CHILDREN MURDERED Brisbane, Nov. 20. A fearful tragedy occurred near Alligator Creek, between Mackay and Blane Creek, some time on Friday last, when the white wife of a Chinese farmer named Ching, and her family of five children were murdered, r Ching went to Blane Creek on business, and when he returned he found the bodies of his wife, his daughter Maud (aged 17), si boy of five years, and a baby girl together in the sitting room. A search revealed the bodies of the other children (Teddy, aged 10, and Dolly, aged.B) three-quarters of a mile from the house. It is supposed these two were seen returning from school by the murderer apd enticed away and shot, Their schoolbags were found on the kitchen table.
