Three Men Stabbed.
A VICIOUS FOREIGNER. Hamilton, Last Night. ■ A sensational stabbing affray occurred at Frankton Junction early on Saturday evening, resulting in three men receiving wounds necessitating their being taken to the hospital. It appears that a Dane. named Axel Snartinge 1 , about 30 years of age, was speaking to an elderly man named Edmond Robinson, in the roadway, and in the course of conversation accused the latter of taking bis (Snartinge's) money. Robinson denied this, when suddenly Snartinge drew a “ pampa ” pocket knife and stabbed Robinson in the stomach. Other men near by came up and Snartinge aitacked them, stubbing Emil Hatisen and John Graham also in the stomach, the knife in each case perforating the abdomen. Snartinge then went in the direction of Hamilton, but was pursued and arrested by the police. The wounded men are all in a dangerous condition.
