Return of the Premier.

Wellington, Aug- 25. The Ruapehu, with the Premier and Sir John Findlay on board, came to an anchor at 10 p.m. The liner was boarded at the anchorage by members of the Ministry and Parliamentarians, who gave the party a hearty welcome. At a subsequent reception on board the Premier made a speech in which he very strongly condemned those who had attacked him during Iris absence. Ha stated that his title had cost him only £IOO Sir John Findlay stated that be intended contesting a seat at the coming elections. Wellington, Last Night. Sir Joseph Ward and Sir John Findlay were tendered a complimentary banquet on Saturday night by the citizens of Wellington, to welcome them back from Home. The members of the Ministry were present, also Sir A. E. Guinness and MajorGeneral Godley. The Mayor, Mr T. M. Wilford, presided., The gathering was a most successful one.
