WEDDING.

SLATER -GWILLIM. Only relations and a few very old friends were present yesterday at the wedding of Mr W. Slater to Miss Elsie Gwillim, only daughter' of Mr G. Gwillim, a very old resident of Have*, lock. Eev. E. A. Parker official d.

The bride was given away by her father, and was attired in white cashmere. Miss Alma Scott, in white em.broidered muslin, was bridesmaid. Mr E. Scott was best man.

Valedictory speeches were made by Messrs W. Dalton, and H. M. Reader. Mr and Mrs Slater subsequently motored to Blenheim, en route to Wellington and their new home near Carterton.

A large number of valuable presents were received by the bride.
