THE MINIMAX.

TO THE BDITOB. .Sib,—ln last Friday’s issue you have a 'paragraph describing my recent Mini* max demonstration at Homewood, Anyone who had not seen this demonstration and reading your correspondent's description of it, would I think conclude that the Minimax had failed to deal successfully with the benzine fire. So far from this being the case, the demonstration was most successful. I think this ~is amply proved by the fact that ten of the gentlemen who saw the demonstration came to me after it was over and ordered machines. The total sales of these machines in - the Sounds to date is over3o, all to men y who have seen the machines used either at Homewood or Pictoh. In the demonstration fire at' the latter place I used half a tin of benzine and had the fire out in 50 seconds. Thanking you for space to insert the above. —I am, etc., Alex. W. Nisbet.
