"COFFIN NOT COME YET."
In India some time ago the body of an English soldier who was supposed to have died was convoyed to the mortuary, over which was a native sentinel. Tlie soldier, however, had been in a trance, and waking up about midnight he came to the door, and, knocking loudly, demanded to be set free. But the sentry refused to open tho door, and, in answer to tho othor, re-? plied : ''Keep quiet, sahib. Th» coffin not come yet !"
