Scene in the Queensland Assembly.
Brisbane, November 29
In the Legislative Assembly, in a debate on the Land Bill, Mr-Lesina moved that the Chairman leave the chair, and report progress in six months. The Chairman resented this as being impertinent.
Mr Lesina retorted that he “ didn’t care a tinker’s curse what the Chairman thought.” By a vote of the House, Mr Lesina was suspended for a fortnight,;
