President Roosevelt, in receiving the Industrial Commission which was sent from England to study American manufacturing methods, referred to the inevitable -and increasing tendency of employers, and employed to work iq corporations and unions.
Such combinations, the President said, had great possibilities for good or evil, and it wouid be folly to take exception to the movement except on the ground of i s conduct,
Owing to trusts controlling the supply of turkeys in America, the price of gobblers has increased one quarter.
