Supreme Court.
(Before Chief Judge Prendergast.) This Court held a sitting in bankruptcy on Thursday, when discharges were granted to the following bankrupts, on the application of Mr Watson, who appeared for William O'Meara, Pene Heihi, John Salter Lincoln, Maria Smith, Joseph Price, John Brown, Nicholas and Co., John McDowall. Similar orders were made in the following cases—E. O’Meara, on the application of Mr Nolan ; and A. Stevens and E. Devefy, on the. application of—Mr Rees; aud L. G. Direy, on the application of Mr Brassey.
’’ he public examinations of the following bankrupts were passed, and the bankruptcy closed in the estates of R. Douglas, D. A. McLeod, W. A. Hodge, John Robertson, F. J. Thompson, Piripi Putekohi, and A. Sinclair, on the application of Mr Watson. The application of T. E. R. Bloomfield for his discharge was, after discussion and argument, adjourned until the next sitting of the Court in June, 1886.
In the case Ward v. Maude and Skipworth, which was for a decree of administration and accounts in the estate of G. Lawson, and included a claim for. forcosts, judgment was given for plaintiff and a decree granted with costs. In Lucas v. Wi Brown, claim /"so, the plaintiff was nonsuited. In the land case Goldsmith v. N.Z. N.L.S. Company judgment was reserved. Judgment for the plaintiff was given in the case of Kahutia v. Brassey. In the cas6 of Haig v. Baber, claim yfsso, judgment for defendant and costs. Common and Co. v. Haig, claim judgment reserved.
