Death on Board the Ionic
(own correspondent.) Napier, Friday. A death occurred yesterday morning on board the steamer lonic, now loading at this port. The deceased, who was a passenger from London to Hobart was not landed at the latter port owing to his suffering fiom brain fever, which was the cause of his death. ’he body was brought ashore yesterday afternoon, and was buried in the cemetery. The affection of the brain is supposed to nave been caused by mental strain in consequence of heavy financial losses. He was entered on the passenger list as Mr Milner.
