(own correspodent.) Sydney, Oct. 10. The Hon. Jas. Farrell, Minister of Lands, has resigned his port folio, the reason being that he considers the references made as to the working of the lands department in the electioneering address issued by Wright, Minister of Public Works, reflects upon himself A considerable number of Parliamentary candidates express themselves in favor of instituting the payment of members. Further cases of small-pox have developed itself amongst persons isolated at the quarantine station.
