(own correspondent.) Wellington, Friday. Mr Larnach is seriously unwell, having suffered a relapse through attending his Parliamentary duties before he had thoroughly recovered from his late illness. A temperance demonstration was held on Wednesday and number of temperance bodies walking in procession a mile long. A reunion in connection with the demons* tration took place at the Exhibition in the evening. A congress of temperance bodies, convened by John Harding, of Hawke’s Bay, was held here on Wednesday and yesterday. It was decided to form a Temperance Alliance for the whole of New Zealand, for the suppression of the liquor traffic.
