The Roumelia Disturbances.
(own correspondent.) London. Sept. 22. The Times this morning states that Prussia and Austria are in favor of appointing a conference to settle theßoumelian question, and also announces that the Russian Government will require a deposition of Prince A lexander, from the throne of Bulgaria. Sept. 23. Prince Alexander, of Bulgaria, has despatched a telegram to the European powers and sublime Porte, in which he adjnits suzerainty to the Sultan, and disdains any idea of hostility towards Turkey, and requests the Sultan to fulfil the wishes of Bulgaria and Senia with regard to a settlement of Roumelia. The Turkish Government have issued a circular to European powers protesting against the action of Prince Alexander, of Bulgaria, in recognising the revolutionary party of Roumelia. The Porte further invokes that the clauses in the treaty of Berlin, which allows Turkey to use military force to suppress disorder within their botiudarics, be allowed opriaiion.
It is announced that a considerable boflv of trnon' arc pc-.-nb.’ed on the Turkish-Romneiian frontier, but in deference to the wishes of Germany and Russia, the troops have not as yet been brought into action. September 24. It is announced that the Servian army is being mobilised in consequence of recent events in Roumelia. Considerable dissatisfaction exists among the population of Albania, and symptoms of rebellion have been manifested. Roumania, Greece, and Servia are mobilising their armies. The latter country will probably occupy Macedonia. Berlin, Sept. 23. The North German Gazette has an article to-day upon the action of Roumelia in revolting, and declaring in favor of a union with Bulgaria, The article dwells at considerable length upon the illegality of the recent revolution, and its recognition by the ruling Prince of Bulgaria.
