GIFT EVENING

Miss Pearl Harper was hostess at a “miscellaneous" gift evening at her home in Rawiri street hi .honour of next week’s bride, Miss Doris Sinden.

Mrs. Harper received her daughter’s guests wearing a frock of black beaded cloque. Miss Harper wore delphinium blue cloque. The guest of honour was frocked in clover sheer sultane.

After a delightful supper Miss Sinden, assisted by her bridesmaids tobe, Misses G. Garley and Harper, opened the many gifts. Amongst those present were Mesdames Sinden . and A. Shorland; Misses P.'
