SILK PRICK WAR ENDS
LONDON, Feb. 20. Courtaulcls, Limited, ending a li* year-old price war with their chief rivals, British Celane.se, last night announced a pact to raise rayon prices. The price war has cost the companies millions. Courtaulcls’ profits last year slumped to £352,000, compared with the previous year’s £2,374,000. Capital of the two companies is nearly £41.000,000.
