WOMAN M.P. PASSES
FIRST IN AUSTRALIA DEATH OK MISS HOLMAN (Reed. March 21, 2.30 p.m.) PERTH, March 21. Miss May Holman, M.L.A., the first woman Member of Parliament in Australia, died from injuries suffered in a motor car accident on Friday. She had been a Labour member of the Legislative Assembly since 1925 and was re-elected at the general elections on Saturday.
