ST. PATRICK'S SPORTS LARGE ENTRIES RECEIVED (Herald Correspondent.) St. Patrick's Day sports were held at Matawai under ideal conditions on Saturday. Large entries were received. A good working committee had worked hard to get the grounds in order and dogs for chopping, the committee being led .by Messrs. R. Baird, N. Thomas and R. Beaufoy. The chopping handicappers were Messrs. C. K'orte and A. Bulst. Side shows and dart-throwing were in charge of Mr. R. McDonald, and did good .business.
