QUARRYMAN KILLED
SUDDEN FALL OF EARTH JAMMED AUAINST I,<MH!Y (IVi- Pi'oss Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Caught in a fall of earth at a Takapuna quarry yesterday afternoon, a labourer suffered internal injuries from which he died a few minutes Later. The victim was:Luka Vulavicli, aged 42, single, of Takapuna. ■With another man. Mr. Yulavich was loading scoria into a standing lorry. A sudden fall occurred and Mr. Yulavich was thrown 'heavily against the end of the vehicle and jammed 'between it and the earth. Mr. Yulavich dlied before any attention could be given to him. Ho was in Dalmatian who had been in New Zealand for about 14 years. The other man was standing on the other side of the lorry and was not caught by the fall.
