Imperial Star, Auckland, April IC. COASTAL TRADE The Pukeko worked Napier today and arrives at Gisborne to-mor-row to discharge Lyttelton cargo. From Gisborne the ship proceeds to Auckland. The Kopara" completed loading at Auckland last night for Coast bays, Gisborne and Napier. She sailed at 11-50 p.m. and is due here tomorrow morning. The Margaret W., which cleared Auckland last night for Gisborne, arrives here to-morrow morning and sails that 4ight for Tolaga Bay, Fokomaru Bay and Auckland. The Wainui, loading at southern ports for Napier and Gisborne, left Dunedin yesterday, works Oamaru and Timaru to-day, Lyttelton tomorrow, thence Wellington. She arrives at Gisborne about March 27. The Totara is expected to load coal at Greymouth to-morrow for Gisborne, where -she is due about March 27 to discharge. The auxiliary scow Altair was to leave Auckland last evening for Gisborne to discharge benzine. The IBakura is due at Wellington to-morrow from Napier to load for Napier and Gisborne. HOMEWARD LOADINGS Gisborne Roadstead Imperial Star (Blue Star Line), loads at Gisborne April 16-18 and clears Lyttelton finally on April 29 for London. DREDGE KAIONE The dredge Kaione will leave Wanganui this week to undergo repairs and a thorough overhaul in Wellington before going to Nelson, where jshc will ibe loaned to the Nelson Harbour Board for six months. RANGITANE CLEARS PANAMA The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rangitane, which sailed from London on March 3 for Wellington and Auckland, sailed from Panama (Balboa) on the evening of March 18. The vessel is due at Wellington on April 6. THE DOMINION MONARCH The new Shaw, Savill and Albion Line motor ship Dominion Monarch arrived' at Sydney yesterday morning from Melbourne and sailed again last night for Wellington, where she is due on Saturday morning. She will leave Wellington on April 1 for Auckland. ANOTHER MARIPOSA The name Mariposa, carried by the Matson liner in the trans-Pacific trade, is now used by three vessels. The first of the: existing ships to bear the name is the old United States steamer Mariposa, built in 1892 and the last, renamed Mariposa recently, is another strange contrast to the big white American liner. A British steamer launched in 1914, she has had no fewer than nine names, the preceding Mariposa being Greek Mariner.
