BLACKBURN SINGLES CUP WINTER WINS PINAL (Herald. Correspondent.) Last week-end the final ©ame in connection with the C. Blackburn Singles Cup was played on the Ruatoria bowl ins green (between C. Winter and W. Carter. After a very even game the ma'.ch resulted in a win [or C. Winter, 18-15. The cup was presented to the winner toy Mr. P. G. Burton, Mr. Winter hrieflv replying. The weather was fine and the green was in great order. Other games of interest were:— Club's Double Badges—Smyth and Ward (s), 29, were successful in retaining badges against Burton and Bunch (s), 15. Club's Singles Badge.—J. Clarke, It, defeated C. Spadesman, 10, thus remaining 'the holder of this badge TOKOMARU BAY CLUB (Herald Correspondent.) A president v. vice-president game was played on the Tokomaru Bay bowling green last week-end, the president's side proving the winners. Following are the results, the president's teams being mentioned first in each case: —W. Collins, J. Savage, A. Morgan, K. Leßcau (s) 1C v. J. Cockery, A. N. Wilkins, E. Hankev, A. L.
