MOTORISTS INJURED

CAE HITS POWER POLE EXTENSIVE DAMAGE (Per Press Association.) FOXTON, this day. A car driven by Mrs. G. B. Eastwood, accompanied by Mr. Eastwood, 33 Fitzroy street, Wellington, when en route to Wairakei skidded at Himatangi corner at midday yesterday and crashed into a power pole in, front of the store. The door was torn off and Mr. Eastwood fell on to the road, suffering a head injury. The. car continued on iat a right angle to finish up in a fence. Mrs. Eastwood received a cut over an eye. Both received medical attention at Foxton. The car was considerably damaged.
