PALESTINE SAFEGUARDS FUTURE NATIONAL HOME PROPOSALS IN LONDON CABINET DISCUSSION (E)e<\ Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 11.45 a.m. RUGBY, March 13. The Colonial Secretary, Mr. Malcolm MacDonald, is consulting his Cabinet colleagues to-day in reference to the Palestine conference. It is assumed that the final draft of the British proposals will be considered and it is generally expected that these will be submitted to the Arab and Jewish delegations on Wednesday. At informal week-end meetings between the British and Jewish representatives, the Jewish memorandum in reply to the British suggestions was discussed. Newspapers state that ?t contains counter-proposals and asks for an assurance that full safeguards will toe given in the British plan for the future development of the Jewish national home.
