The chairman stated that there had been no tag for gome years, and this, combined with the fact that the auditors' fee had decreased, indicated the good work that was being carried out by the board's staff. Resignation of Member Mr. M. R. Shaw wrote tendering his resignation as a member of the board owing to business reasons. He expressed his thanks to the chairman, members and staff for past courtesies, and wished the board success.—ln moving that the resignation be received with regret, Mr. Corkill stated that Mr. Shaw had been a very useful and conscientious member and one who would be greatly missed. The motion was seconded by Mr. Glendining, who stated that Mr. Shaw had always done his best in the interests of the board.
