FIRST WOMAN TO FLY DIES
LONDON, Feb. 7. Mrs. Leila Marie Cody, aged 87, who claimed to be the first woman in the world to ily an aeroplane, died yesterday at her home in Ash Vale, Surrey. She was a widow of the pioneer aviator, Coloned S. F. Cody, a native of Texas, who toured England in the 1900's under the billing “King of the Cowboys.” He was killed in an aeroplane accident in 1913.
