PIGEON FLYING
.UAKAKAKA CLUB'S RACE The Makaraka Racing Pigeon Club held a race from Mohaka during trie week-end, but the weather conditions were not very favourable. The results were: T. Crosby's bluebar pied, 1: A. McDonald's blue chequer, 2; W. Marshall's blue chequer 3; J. Martin's black chequer, 4; R. Evans' mealy, 5. The race next week will be from Napier, the birds to be boxed on Friday night.
