TE KUITI STOCK SALE There was a good yarding of sheep and a small penning of cattle at Te Kuiti. Breeding ewes were in. good demand. Two-tooth wethers made to 14s; four and six-tooth, from Poverty Bay, Hs to lis 3d>; aged and' inferior ewes, 5s Gd to 9s. The tone of the •sheep market iwas decided'iy better than at recent sales. Cattle were not in demand. RISE IN SKIN PRICES A well-spread demand for sheepskins was responsible for a rise of a half-penny to three-farthings in prices realised at the first March hide and sheepskin sale conducted by Messrs. Murray, Roberts and Company, Limited, in Wellington. Average catalogues were offered to a lull bench of 'buyers. Cow hides brought keen competition from buyers and prices improved by gd, while all weights of ox. yearling, kip and calf sold at par. N.Z. DRUG DIVIDEND (Tor Pruss Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. At a meeting of the directors of Kcmpthorne, Prosser (N.Z. Drug Company, Limited), yesterday afternoon, a dividend of 4J per cent, making 8 pei cent for the year, was recommended.
