TROPHIES AT TOLAGA .1 (JDC!E\S COMPLIMENTS HEATH’S CLYDE (MIAMPION (Special to tlic Herald.) TOLAGA BAY, this day. Championship honours at the Tolaga Bay Sheep Dog Trials Club's annual field meeting, the most successful to date, went to S. W. Heath's Clyde, which entry secured the Loisel Cup for the champion dog, while E. Neels’ George, King, and Flirt were awarded the Reynolds Memorial Cup for the best team oi three. In the two-dog competition for the Patterson Cup, there was a tie between W. Mackenzie's Scamp and Tim, and T. Parkinson's Bruce and Boy. With a total of 70 entries in the Long Head, 81 in the Ziz-zag Huntaway, and 70 in the Straight Huntaway, the judge, Mr. F. Calcott, laced a big task on all four days of the meeting, and his awards gave general satisfaction. The standard of work was the subject of compliments .to the club on the part of Mr. Calcott, who in turn was warmly commended for his painstaking work. The club also owed its thanks to Mrs. R. Craill and her committee of ladies for conducting the refreshment booth throughout the trials, to Mrs. O. G. James and her Dog Trials Ball committee, to the Reynolds estate and Mr. G. Thompson for the use of the trials grounds, to Mr. O. G. James for the provision of strong sheep, to Messrs. G. Tollerton and A; Painter for their assistance in connection with the smoke concert, and to Mr. Ted Lockwood and his orchestra for individual help in the same connection. Maiden Awards Maiden classes conducted in connection with the different events on the trials programme resulted as under: — Class I, Long Head. —D. Parkinson’s Bruce, 1; P.
