CLAIM IN MADRID COMMUNISTS SUBDUED PROVISIONS DISTRIBUTED TRAM SERVICES RESUMED (Klec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. March 13, 2.50 p.m.) LONDON, March 12. Messages from Madrid state tho't the Republican Prime Minister. General Miaia. claims that the Communist revolt'has ended. Hundreds of prisoners have been liberated. The Republicans cleared Madrid's eastern boundaries and recaptured the Chamartin Elpardo area. Lorries are distributing provisions and the tram services have been resumed. A few Communist posts in tho Guardarama mountains are expected shortly to be subdued. A Perpignau message states thai 25,000 Spanish militiamen are shortly being repatriated to Spain from the Argeles concentration camp, via Hendaye.
