Well Conducted Championships
The manner in which the Hawke’s Bay-Poverty Bay Centre conducted its first national athletic championship meeting was favourably commented on by executive members of the Gisborne Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club who attended the fixture in Napier. Events were run strictly to' schedule and_ despite the handicap of wet weather, very creditable ,„, s Hone by the officers of +he youngest athletic centre j n the Dominion.
