An ordination service was conducted at Kohupatiki, Hawke's Bay, yesterday morning when Mr. Manu Bennett, son of the Bishop of Aotearoa, the Rt. Rev. F. A. Bennett, was admitted to the order of deacon. The ordination service was conducted by Bishop Bennett. Holy Communion service was taken by the Bishop of Waiapu, Rt. Rev. G. V. Gerard, and the sermon was preached by Archdeacon McLean. The candidate was presented by the Rev! J."Hogg, Te Aute, and the Litany was said by the Rev. H. Rangihu. The service was conducted partly in Maori and partly in English.
