COASTAL TRADE The Pukeko leaves Wellington today for Gisborne and is due here on Wednesday morning. The vessel should sail the same day .lor Napier. The Wainui left Lyttelton on Saturday and is to be dispatched from Wellington to-day for Gisborne, where she is due to-morrow evening to discharge. On completion here the vessel is to sail .for Napier, thence Wellington, Bluff, Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington to load again for Napier and Gisborne. The Kopara loads at Auckland todav and to-morrow for Coast bays, Gisborne and Napier. She arrives here on Thursday. The Port Whangarei was due at Auckland yesterday from Gisborne, completing'her final run in the East Coast trade in place of the Margaret W. The Margaret W. has finished her overhaul at Auckland and loads there ,o-dav and to-morrow for Tokomaru Bay, "Tolaga Bay and Gisborne. Tha ship arrives here on Thursday. The auxiliary scow Vesper left Auckland on Friday night with benzine for Gisborne. HOMEWARD LOADINGS Gisborne Roadstead Port Denison (Port Line: agents, Messrs. Williams and Kettle, Limited) cleared Gisborne at 4.15 p.m. on Saturday .for New Plymouth, Timaru, Bluff, and Port Chalmers. Leaving Port Chalmers on March 30 (or London, via Cape Horn, the steamer is due at the Home port on May 10. While in the Gisborne roadstead she lifted 1334 carcases of mutton. 1)766 carcases of lamb, 434 quarters of bee!'. 645 carcases of pork, 162 sides of pork. 116 bags of boneless beef. 1110 packages oi frozen sundries, 19 hales of wool, 48 casks of pelts, 40 casks of hides, 3916 boxes of butter, and 155 crates of cheese. Imperial Star (Blue Star Line), loads t Gisborne April 16-18 and clears Lyttelton finally on April 29 for London.
