Cableway at Cape Maria
Some days were spent by the Government lighthouse steamer Matai at Cape Maria van Diemen last week. The chici work was the completion of a 120011. cableway which stretches between the mainland and the lighthouse. The equipment will be used for the carriage of passengers and goods between the two points, the previous cableway being constructed for the transfer of goods onlv.
