NAPIER CITIZEN'S DEATH
MR. R. M. CHADWIOK FORMER SOCCER PLAYER (Per Press Association.) NAPIER, this day. The death occurred in Napier on Saturday night of Mr. R. M. Chadwick, one of Napier's most active citizens and secretary of the Hawkes Bay Automobile Association. Mr. Chadwick became suddenly ill on Saturday afternoon while attending the national athletic championships, where his son,. Gordon Chadwick, of Auckland, was. performing. Later, a stroke intervened and Mr. Chadwick died at 9.30 p.m. Well known all over New Zealand for his personality, and sportsmanship, Mr. Chadwick once, represented New Zealand and Otngo at association football and Otago at cricket. Ht> was born in Dunedin 59 years ago
