INTERMEDIATE FOURS KAHUTIA WINS TITLE CHAMPIONS UNDECIDED The third round was completed in both the Champion of Champion Fours and the Intermediate Fours competitions held on the Poverty Bay Bowling Club’s green on Saturday by the Gisborne-East Coast Bowling Centre. At that stage the senior competition, remained undecided with three teams—To Kanaka, Poverty Bay and Gisborne —still in the running for the title. As the position stands at present, Kahutia and Wairoa are considerea to be out of the running, while the other three all have a chance to lift the title Arrangements have been made for Te Karaka to play in town next Saturday against Gisborne: and also against Poverty Bay. Should the country rink gain the decision in both matches, then they will have won the hampionship outright, but if the team fails in either game or in bath, furthei elimination play will be necessary. Play in the Wairoa Bowling Club's Handicap Singles competition was advanced a further stage ™ Saturday when Pemberton beat Corbett, Winter beat G.
