Bequest to Football Club
A bequest of .CSOO to the Christchurch Football Club made under the will of Mr. J. R. Evans, who died about three years ago, and who was associated with the club for more than 50 years, has .been received by the club. Ambulance Presented . The gift of a new ambulance with a trailer, which will be equipped with medical and surgical requirements, has been made to the St. John Ambulance Association, Auckland, by Mrs. Bertha Wilson, of Remuera. The offer, which has been acknowledged by the chairman of the Auckland Centre, Mr. C. J. Tunks, was made in commemoration of the donor's father, the late Sir Edwin Mitchelson, and the new vehicle will bo known as the "Edwin Mitchelson Ambulance,"
