EARLY COURT AT PALACE

QUEEN IN WHITE AND GOLD TIARA OF DIAMONDS (Reed. March 11, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 10. The first court was held unusually early owing to the coming tour of Canada by the King and Queen. The King wore the fulldress uniform of a field marshal. The Queen wore a gown of shimmering white slipper satin. The wide skirt was heavily bordered with bands of gold lace, gold lame and gold guipuere lace encrusted with pearls. Gold paillettes were let into the corsage and the central panel of the gown. The train was of gold lame bordered with bands of gold lace. The Queen's tiara, necklace and bracelets were of diamonds.

With the King and Queen were the Duke and Duchess of Kent, and .the Princess Alice Countess of Athlonc.
