Mr. F. W. Doidge, M.P. for Tauranga, who is now recuperating in Auckland after 10 weeks' illness following an operation, will return to his home in Tauranga to-day.
An engagement has been announced between Ronald William, second son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Shaw, Torohiwi, Rakauroa, and Joy, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Tietjen, Bushmere.
