DELAY IN SOLUTION

Apparently the unavoidable delay in reaching a solution of the Palestine problem is fraying the tempers of the participants at the conference, immigration 'being the chief stumbling block. The situation remains in abeyance, pending a formal meeting on Thursday, when the Government will review the, position, but so many plans are under discussion that it is difficult to see whence a solution, if any, can emerge.
