“Civic Comfort in South Africa”
In genera! progress ancl civic comfort South Africa is far behind New Zealand, according to a letter received from Bishop Sedgwick, formerly Bishop of Waiapu, by a friend in Christchurch recently. The bishop mentions as an example that the cathedral city of Grahamstown ha, had a city water supply for only two years. Before that the city was entirely dependent on rain water tanks.
