OUTSTANDING HURDLER
REOOLLEOTTON’S RISE Ity “Trenton” Ilurcllc events at Ricearton at Easter will be the next outing for Recollection. Brush or standard hurdles, it is all the same to Recollection, a natural jumper, whose rise from obscurity has been a rapid one. Till this season Recollection had been tried on the fiat, but though the winner of a number of races lie did not come up to expectations. From the first day S. Barr tried him over hurdles, Recollection has made progress. Making his first appearance in a hurdle race at Dunedin last Christmas, he ran well for fourth. Since then he has had four successive victories and won his races in convincing style. As the result of six wins and two seconds from 14 starts this season, Recollection has earned £B3O.
