OVERSEAS CONTINGENTS
FIFTY SCOUTS FROM FIJI
DUTCH BOYS EXPECTED
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day
A letter 'has 'been received by the organisers in Wellington of the Centennial Boy Scout Jamboree to say that a contingent of 50 Scouts is coming from Fiji to attend the camp at Heretaunga at the end of this year. So far no announcement of the personnel has been made.
The majority of the boys will be native Fijians. They will make probably the largest body of Melanesian natives ever to visit New Zealand.
Other overseas contingents are expected from Australia, South Africa, Canada, Holland, Great Britain and Honolulu.
