(Herald Correspondent.) Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Loftier and family, Pouawa, have been the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Spence, Waipaoa station. —Mrs. M. H. Walton, accompanied by Mrs. F. Watton, has returned to Te Karaka after spending a fortnight with her daughter, MrsC. G. Lucas, Gisborne. Visitors to the Wheturuu sports meeting who were the week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Spence, Waipaoa station, included Misses E. Blott, .1. Sanders, .1. Russell, and J. Cotterill, Te Karaka; Misses J. and M. Thornton and B. Weeks, Tolaga Bay; Miss J. Perry, Gisborne. Mr. M. J. Kyne, Tc Karaka, returned this week from a visit to Rotorua.
