ELECTION OF OFFICERS

At the conference of the New Zealand Institute of Town Clerks yesterday the election of office bearers resulted as follows: —President, Mr. B. S. Knox (Lower Hutt); vice-presidents, Messrs. W. L. Waddell (Hamilton). J. R. Ha.rdie (Palmerston North), T. R. Congalton (Mt. Albert), W. F. Sturman (Invercargill l ), J. M. Frazer (Rangiora), and J. F. Menzies (Sumner); executive committee, Messrs. C. L. Bishop (Eastbourne), Cl. P. O’HaraSmith (Dannevirke), M. C. Harding (Hastings), C. 11. A. Tate (Feilding), and B. M. Witashurst (Upper Hutt): secretary and treasurer, Mr. B. M. Wilmshurst; ihon. auditor, Mr. A. J. Gearing (Hutt River Board).
