THE WEATHER Last Night’s Forecast General Situation: Pressure is again high and fairly uniform over New Zealand. The depression on the east coast ol' Australia yesterday is now centred south-east of Sydney. Forecast: Winds light to moderate north-easterly prevailing and freshening somewhat. Scats: In New Zealand waters, slight to moderate; Eastern Tasman, light to moderate but freshening east to north winds and moderate but rising seas. Weather: For the most part fair tc line and warm. but. some morning mists or fogs probable. To-clay’s North Island Report Overcast conditions were reported :1( Wellington this morning, but blue skies prevailed elsewhere in the North island.
