ANNUAL DANCE
HI NETAPORA W.I. (Herald Correspondent.) The Tawhiornngi dining hall at Mangahanea presented a gay scene last Saturday night when the Hinetapora Women’s Institute held its annual dance. The music was supplied by the Night Owls orchestra. A .spot waltz was won by Mrs. W. Ilogan and Mr. K. Milner. A delicious supper was served from tables decorated with gladiolias and Iceland poppies. Mr. R. Awaterc made a capable M.C. The members of the institute responsible for the dance were Mesdames R. Tuheke, P, Whaipooti, K. Milner, J. Grace, and R. Tuhou;* Misses T. and R. Ilauraki. Among others present were Mesdames J. Pcnfold, E. Bogey, W. Hogan N. Kaiwai, and W. Tawaho; Misses S. Fox, N. Kershaw, R. Mackey, M. Poutu. P. Hacnga, J. Haenga, M. Awalere, M. Waititi, J. Mangu, M. and R. Tuhou.
