To-morrow evening’s floodlight sports meeting, wnich will be conducted on the Victoria Domain by the Gisborne Sports Club, will open with an attempt by F. Cox to lower 11. J. McLeod’s record time for the 12-mile marathon. This event will start at 7 o’clock and will be followed by a programme of running, cycling and greyhound racing, for which handicaps and entries have been declared as under:—
