(Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Mar. 7, 10 a.m.) BERLIN, Mar. G. To ease the labour shortage it is proposed to employ Jewish workers in certain factories, but they would be segregated from Aryan employees.
Dr. Todt, Germany's building dictator, reveals that 500,000 workers are employed in the western fortifications. Three thousand concrete mixers have turned out 1,500,000 tons of concrete. He claims that by the end of September the work will be so far advanced that an enemy would have insufficient guns to smash down a third of the emplacements.
The German Government has taken over the complete control of automobile production and henceforth will co-ordinate plants, material, tvpes and output.
