'ln the fifth avid final cricket test match of the season which opened on Friday. South Africa’s first innings was to-day concluded with the score at 530 runs. England in reply 'had lost one wicket for 35 runs when rain caused an early stoppage of play for the day. Nourse reached his century in 356 minutes. His tally included six fours. He was yorked when trying to slog. South Africa’s innings lasted for 780 minutes.
