CAR OVER BANK
TWO OCCUPANTS HURT EARLY, MORNING CRASH Two iDannevirke residents were injured in a motor accident on the main Napier-Palmerston North road, about 10 miles north of Dannevdrke, at about 1 o’clock on Sunday morning. A motor car driven" by a young man, Neil Russell, iDannevirke, who was accompanied by. Hector Frederick Nash, Dannevirke, ran off the road and over a bank, striking a telegraph pole at the foot of the bank. The car was extensively damaged, the top being torn completely off. Both occupants were removed to the Dannevirke Hospital toy ambulance. Their injuries were reported to be serious. 'Mr. 'Russell's condition later had improved, but Mr. Nash’s was reported to be grave.
