MEETING OF COMMITTEE PROGRAM M K FOR TO FAG A At a meeting of the Gisborne Amateur Athletic and Harrier Club's executive la sit night, advice was received from the Tolaga Bay Sports Club that a full programme of amateur events had been arranged for the Easter Saturday sports, the events to include 100yds, 220yds, 440yds, 880yds, and' -one mile open handicaps, 100yds and 220yds junior handicaps, 75yds and 100yds women’s handicaps, halfmile, one mile and three-mile cycle handicaps, high jump, broad jump and shot put handicaps. It was reported that entries would be received by Messrs. Fitzmaurice and Butler for these events. An -application for the use of part of the Childers Road Reserve tor training purposes was received from the Poverty Bay Hockey Association, and Messrs. R. J. Quinn and J. E. Mercer were appointed to confer with the Hockey Association on the matter. It was decided to conduct a series of dances during the winter months on the following dates: April 29, May 27, June 24, July 29 and August 2(i.
